DG Bukola Bakare Receives Friendship Exchange Student from Germany, Sends Forth Another

The District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn Bukola Bakare on Monday, August 17, 2026 received the district’s newest Youth Exchange student, Arnold Faranpojo from Osun state who just returned on an 11 months friendship exchange programme in Wuppertal, German.

During his stay in Germany, he lived with three host families, leant their culture, language and also attended their school. The excited student was received alongside his mom, Mrs Funmilayo Faranpojo.

In the same vein, the DG also received young Jamal Opoola who is set to leave for Germany as the next Youth Exchange student from the district. Also present were his parents, Mr and mrs Opoola who are both Rotarians of Rotary Club of Ewutuntun, one of the Rotary clubs in the district.
